The project

Maghreb Info is an online outlet based in Rabat covering politics, the economy, sport, culture and international news, in Arabic.

The brief

A news outlet publishes several stories a day. The newsroom needed to publish quickly on its own, readers needed comfortable right-to-left reading, and pages had to load instantly on mobile.

Our work

What we designed and built, step by step.

1. Carefully crafted right-to-left reading

   Layout, typography and navigation designed for Arabic from the start, not adapted afterwards.

2. A front page and sections

   Lead stories, sections (politics, economy, sport, culture), a video area and a latest-news feed.

3. An independent newsroom

   A back office to publish several stories a day without going through a developer.
